Research Interests and Specialties

  • Molecular tumor biology: To explore the molecular mechanism of tumorigenesis and cancer metastasis by using advanced molecular biology approaches, including microarray and next-generation sequencing technologies.

  • Signal transduction: To investigate the interaction between cancer cell and stroma cell (or microenvironment) by microarray, as well as the signaling pathways.

  • Clinical application: To develop the molecular classification, diagnosis, and prognosis of cancer, as well as the evaluation of patient-tailored cancer treatment.

  • Bioinformatics: To develop bioinformatics tools and algorithm, including the data analyses of microarray, pathway, cis-regulatory element, transcription factor, next-generation sequencing, and so on.
