Over the past years, Chung Hsing University had actively applied for the establishment Department of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine to cultivate holistic medical talents, balance medical resources, improve rural medical resources, and link basic research, clinical research, and interdisciplinary research. In 2020, NCHU established the Medical College Provisional Office, which is responsible for planning the use of space, organizational structure, and employment of clinical and basic medical teachers for the School of Medicine. In 2022, the Department of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine and the College of Medicine were successfully established and the College of Medicine became the tenth College in NCHU. In this regard, NCHU is the only national university with a College of Medicine in Central Taiwan. We also actively invest in the development of clinical medical talents, cross-field academic research, and the support of characteristic medical biotechnology industries. By doing that, it is expected to improve Taiwan's clinical medical personnel and contribute to the upgrading of the medical industry and the promotion of medical technology development. We look forward to training professionals with diverse talents with strength in both medical skills and medical ethics for the country, enhancing the influence of the school in the central region, leading the hospitals in the central region to enter a new century of digital technology, and achieving the next century of Chung Hsing University.
